Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Officer, Business Development (APIs and Excipients) at Remex Corporation Ltd in Dhaka. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, utilizing analytical skills, effectively communicating with stakeholders, and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape for API products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets and expand the client base.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Prepare and present proposals to potential clients, negotiate terms, and close deals while ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure product availability, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical assistance and product information to clients, ensuring they are well-informed about API specifications and applications.
  • Record and analyze sales activities, maintain accurate customer databases, and prepare regular sales reports for management.
  • Collaborate with management to set competitive pricing for products, ensuring profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements for APIs and ensure all business practices comply with industry standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance industry knowledge and improve sales techniques.
  • Gather feedback from clients and market insights to inform product development and improvement initiatives.

  • B. Pharm/M. Pharm/Masters in Chemistry or related field
